Launch day round up

Well…better late than ever, or so they say! Our launch day was a great success and we want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who took time out to come and see us, especially those who participated in the classes…

…some of the physi-go run volunteers may have regretted it the next day!

There were some local celeb friends of PP, some regulars, some new faces and a stack of cup cakes. We even got an appearance on Spotlight thanks to Sarah’s breaking news!!

With our generously donated GB kit raffle we raised £85 for Special Olympics Plymouth & District which we presented to the lovely David, Dai and Steven a few weeks later. They are raising funds to send 40 athletes to the National Games in Sheffield next year. As well as donations they need volunteers to help out with their club night night (Wednesday’s) and local events – I think I may have been volunteered to help out at a football tournament next year – they are some sweet talking gents!! If anyone wants their contact details to offer their time or services, which I know would be very gratefully received please get in touch and we will hand them over.
